【摘要】:Thispracticeprovidesastudydesignfordeterminingshelflifeofmedicalglovesusingproductinitsfinalpackagingconfigurationthathasbeenstoredundertypicalwarehouseconditions.1.1Thispracticecoversallsurgeon''sandexaminationgloves,madefromeithersyntheticornaturalrubberlatex,marketedatthetimethispracticeispublished,forwhichthereisnopreviousrealtimeagingdataavailable,andforwhichthereareatleast12monthsofstorageasfinishedgoodsundertypicalwarehouseconditions.Thispracticedescribeshowtodeveloprealtimeagingdataforglovesthatarepartoffinishedgoodsinventory(includingglovesthatmaynolongerbemanufactured)inordertoverifytheestimatedexpirationdate(seeNote1).ManufacturersmayusethisdataasastartingpointforrealtimeagingstudiesasdescribedinPracticeD7160.Note18212;Acceleratedagingforthree-yearshelflifeisdescribedinPracticeD7160.1.2Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
